It's actually a tiny little sand dune on the Dorset coast called Sandbanks near Poole Dorset UK, some of the properties can go for £10million + and some people are actually calling it by the name of Britain's Monte Carlo!. The beach at has the finest qualtiy sands and the water is very shallow. The water is very clean, During the busy months between the 1st May and 30 Sept, you will find Lifeguards on duty and also a First Aid post if required. Beachfront Facilities included at Sandbanks, toilets (with full disabled facilities) , showers, other food and drink bars. How to get to Sandbanks.. From Poole take the B3369 Sandbanks Road around Poole Harbour. This becomes Shore Road. From Bournemouth take the A35 road to the Fitzharris roundabout at Westbourne, and then The Avenue (B6035) past Branksome Chine and through Canford Cliffs to Sandbanks. It will come of no suprise that there an abundance of Hotels and general accommodation.
